The Knowledge Nexus

In alignment with Mulgrave’s dedication to personalised learning, we recognise, embrace and celebrate the diverse needs and learning styles of our students.

Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, we are excited to launch a new

Senior School Learning Hub

Inspired by the warm, inviting atmosphere of a cafe, the Learning Hub will offer an inclusive multifunctional space.

This holistic approach ensures that all students, whether returning to school after an injury or navigating a tough academic challenge, have the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to succeed.

Curiosity Unboxed!

One of the funding requests from our Junior School teachers this year is a refresh of their Unit of Inquiry (UOI) boxes.

These kits are filled with carefully curated classroom props, materials, and learning tools and are a valuable resource to help students explore real-world concepts, develop inquiry skills, and make meaningful connections to subject matter.

Building a Greener Future

Mulgrave’s commitment to environmental sustainability is at the core of our values.

Guided by our Environmental Sustainability Action Plan, developed by staff and students, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while educating our community on sustainable practices.

We are deeply grateful to our donors who support our vision of creating a campus that reflects the values and aspirations of our students, staff, and families

Donor funding has supported key initiatives, including the creation of educational garden spaces for Junior and Middle School students, the transition to eco-friendly alternatives in our cafeteria, and the upcoming upgrade to our HVAC system.

Mulgrave has built a meaningful partnership with Britannia Elementary School in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, evolving from Middle School Changemakers organising sports days to hosting students at

the SOLE Centre for outdoor education experiences.

While the opportunity for these families to enroll at Mulgrave has been warmly embraced and our donors have enthusiastically supported this transformational initiative, logistical challenges - especially around transportation- have emerged

Thanks to their generosity, we now have safe, flexible, and reliable transportation to support the continued growth of this invaluable partnership.

However, with growth to four students this year, it became clear that this arrangement was no longer sustainable for the long term.

this partnership has allowed us to offer full funding for a few Grade 7 graduates to attend Mulgrave for their high school years.
