Reflecting on 2024, we’re proud of the milestones that have been reached and the momentum you've helped build. In this issue of Advancing Education, you'll find updates on a selection of projects, a progress report for this year’s Momentum funding goals, and a look ahead to some upcoming initiatives.

Momentum Update

Since the November launch of this year’s Momentum annual fund, we have seen incredible support from our staff, families, and the widercommunity. During our December year-end matching appeal, 

Mulgrave’s annual fund, will continue to

raise funds for this year’s priority programmes throughout the school year. We look forward to keeping you updated on progress toward our goals and the ongoing annual Grade Challenge.

The Knowledge Nexus

In alignment with Mulgrave’s dedication to personalised learning, we recognise, embrace and celebrate the diverse needs and learning styles of our students.

Curiosity Unboxed!

One of the funding requests from our Junior School teachers this year is a refresh of their Unit of Inquiry (UOI) boxes.

These kits are filled with carefully curated classroom props, materials, and learning tools and are a valuable resource to help students explore real-world concepts, develop inquiry skills, and make meaningful connections to subject matter.

Building a Greener Future

Road to 
Success

Mulgrave has built a meaningful partnership with Britannia Elementary School in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, evolving from Middle School Changemakers organising sports days to hosting students at

the SOLE Centre for outdoor education experiences.

While the opportunity for these families to enroll at Mulgrave has been warmly embraced and our donors have enthusiastically supported this transformational initiative, logistical challenges - especially around transportation- have emerged
